All White Everything

Summer has begun, and the temperatures are soaring – I cannot imagine wearing any other color but white. Here’s my edit of white ensembles for every style sensibility –

Androgynous

I cant help but love this look – it’s so polished, so effortlessly cool and so so amazing! Pair a white blazer with a pair of well fitted white pants – add some edge to your outfit with these edgy barely there heels from Givenchy.

Minimalist

It’s hard to ignore the Minimalist aspect of Fashion, with powerhouses like Celine propagating this trend with great gusto! Here’s my take on easy minimalism – pair white tailored shorts with a boxy top and finish the look with a no-nonsense clutch.

Flirty Feminine

Think beach dresses, summer dresses in cotton, loose, flirty, midi dresses with  Lace accents and my fashion senses are tingling. Absolutely LOVE this easy – breezy style, and absolutely LOVE the chloe dress on Aimee Song! How do you achieve her look? Pair a beautiful white dress, with comfortable wedges and a crossbody! A Tale Of The Amazing Heels

If there’s one thing a women’s gotta love… it has to be shoes, shoes and many more shoes!

Taking my love for shoes to another level, I decided to do some digging of my own. It’s time to ditch boring vanilla and look out for something edgy. In other words, a Showstopper pair of gorgeous shoes is exactly what’s next on my radar.

Now i’m not just talking embellishment or bold colours, I’m talking serious shoe business, a footwear overhaul, if you may please!

These gorgeous beauties I happened to have stumbled upon, have seriously got me wanting to look out for more.

Here’s a look at some absolute must have’s…I know i’m getting a hold of these very soon!

This is exactly what you need to add that dash of style to complete your party look this season.

FIFA Frenzy 2014

One of the only trending topics these days is the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil!

I for one am not an avid follower of football, but seeing what brands such as Paul Smith, Hublot, Dolce & Gabbana and Louis Vuitton have done this World Cup, Definitely got me excited!

Here’s a look at what some of my favourite brands did:

Hublot: The Official time keeper for FIFA 2014 in Brazil.

Paul Smith: Introduced the Paul Smith Limited Edition football this season.

Louis Vuitton: Especially designed a case to carry the FIFA World Cup trophy. Covered in now iconic LV monogram canvas, the case has signature brass locks too.

Dolce and Gabbana: Team Italy was by far the most impressive, wearing three-piece, navy colored suits by their official sponsor since 2006, Dolce & Gabbana, for their arrival in Rio this year.

Coins.. Coins..More Coins: The Trend Continues

Old Is Gold:

Just yesterday, I went down memory lane when I stumbled upon a couple of my old creations of past collections. While at it, I couldn’t help but notice how the gold coin detail trend which I used back in 2008 is all over the runway this season!

Back in Vogue:

How amazing is the take on gold coins this season! Absolutely love it!

I give this trend a thumbs up!

P.S. I even ended up buying a little something for myself.

It’s All About The Head Gear

This is one trend that’s been carried forward all the way from the roaring 20’s.

The jazz age when it was all about the parties and the jewelley, why leave out your head?

From the runway, straight to the red carpet as well as real life, it’s all about the hair accessories.

You can even wear them in the day, take Dolce & Gabbana’s floral headband and pair it with a flowy white dress – the perfect summer look.

For the evening, take cue from Carey Mulligan in the Great Gatsby. While she wore Tiffany, get yourself some Outhouse and Deepa Gurnani.

The traditional Maang Tikka gives an additional Indian touch to your traditional outfits; take it one step further with Sabyasachi’s embroidered hair bands.
