The Louis Vuitton ’16 show just conclude, and Boy am I blown away! Nicolas Ghesquire has woven his magic once again!
The show took place at the House of Bob and Dolores Hope- the House takes you on an breathtaking journey through Palm Springs.
Here’s a quick look at my favorite looks – I love the rich palette, dominated by bold baroque prints.
It wasn’t the models on the runway that everyone was talking about at the show , it was the David Bowie inspired faces that greeted guests as they arrived at the Bob Hope’s space-age house in Palm Springs that have been filling up chic Instagram feeds.
The show looks so fabulous – it’s tempting me to get my hands on the new Mini-Trunk bag!
Love it. Need it. MUST have it.
Take a bow, Nicolas Ghesquire, you are fab!
Do you love the collection as much as I do? Let me know in the comments below!
We’ve seen this trend passing by through various runways’s and magazines time and again!
This time around though, the Lock trend seem’s to have exploded and HOW!
We saw a rather bold look, with an emphasis on a lock chain by none other than Chanel on the runway. Looks like this trend is no longer being restricted to accessories such as the Hermes wristlet or a Louis Vuitton necklace.
Designers seem to be ready to push the envelope and incorporate the classic lock in apparels as well.
Looking forward to see what else is in store for us to look out for. This definitely looks like a promising start!
A current rage amongst fashion brands is Personalization. A concept that has become an even hotter trend most recently.
The most recent brand to join this bandwagon is none other than British luxury brand,Burberry. Check out their new monogrammed scarves!
This recently popularized process Allows the consumer to be part of the design process and provides an individualized experience.
Now who doesn’t love personalized luxury! Right?
Our Next Stop on this holiday was one of my favourite places.. BOSTON!
Boston a college town and a pathway to success comprises of beautiful architectural buildings amongst the vast university campuses .This city never fails to impress me each time I go back!
This time around around things were no different either, I stumbled upon various interesting concepts that caught my eye As I walked down Newbury street which houses most of the coveted fashion brands.
A beautiful Wedding planner boutique, an LV and Chanel inspired artwork at a gallery and strong floral prints at a window display.

One of the only trending topics these days is the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil!
I for one am not an avid follower of football, but seeing what brands such as Paul Smith, Hublot, Dolce & Gabbana and Louis Vuitton have done this World Cup, Definitely got me excited!
Here’s a look at what some of my favourite brands did:
Hublot: The Official time keeper for FIFA 2014 in Brazil.
Paul Smith: Introduced the Paul Smith Limited Edition football this season.
Louis Vuitton: Especially designed a case to carry the FIFA World Cup trophy. Covered in now iconic LV monogram canvas, the case has signature brass locks too.
Dolce and Gabbana: Team Italy was by far the most impressive, wearing three-piece, navy colored suits by their official sponsor since 2006, Dolce & Gabbana, for their arrival in Rio this year.
Paul Smith: The Paul Smith Limited Edition football
Chanel and Dior can be a tough act for any other brand to live up to in terms of creativity and innovation. However, if there’s anyone who can maintain that standard, its undoubtedly Louis Vuitton!
That explains why Louis Vuitton makes it to my final selection for the Top 3 most spectacular runway shows this season.
Louis Vuitton brought the fashion crowd to Monaco on Saturday May 17, 2014 for a Cruise 2015 show at Place du Palais de Monaco in front of the Grimaldi family.
What made this show so special? Have a look at that breathtaking underwater inspired flooring. SIMPLY WOW!
From Armani to Versace, designers don’t seem to be able to resist putting their label on luxury hotels as well as on the runway.
And I for one am not complaining!
