Fashionably Philanthropic : #WatchHungerStop

In honor of World Food Day, Michael Kors announces a host of initiatives designed to support Watch Hunger Stop, the brand’s ongoing campaign to fight global hunger.

This is such a great campaign, and whats amazing is how Micheal’s not only involving Supermodels, Actresses and his customers – but how the man himself is ensuring he feeds millions.

This year, the brand is adding a special limited-edition timepiece to the collection. The new model, the Bradshaw 100, is available in sleek black or gold-tone and features a detailed map of the world on the face and Michael Kors’ signature engraved on the back, along with WATCH HUNGER STOP and the message “1 WATCH = 100 MEALS.”

The Party Goes On … At MICHAEL KORS

In tune with the jet set lifestyle and a vision of style that reflects glamour, the red carpet rolled out to this year’s annual Met Gala, “China: Through the Looking Glass”,

Who was his plus one may you ask? Well, nothing fancy, just Kate houdson & a line up of the most chic and influential women in Hollywood, including Hailee Steinfeld, Elizabeth Banks, Candice Swanepoel, Liu Wen to  name a few.

Michael Kors and his plus one (Kate Hudson)

And, because the occasion called for a fabulous after-party, Kors—together with iTunes—held an exclusive post-Gala event at The Mark Hotel on the Upper East Side. Inside, the A-list posed for photo-booth-style candid snaps  mingled gown-to-gown with music that set the mood just right. The night ended on a high-note with a performance by Grammy Award-winner Miguel. No that’s what I call a party!

Robert Pattinson and Kate Hudson

Wendy Deng Murdoch (L), Baz Luhrmann (C) and Ivanka Trump (R)

Naomi Campbell and Will.I.Am

Hailee Steinfeld and Elizabeth Banks

Katie Holmes and Zac Posen

But well, things don’t end here… soon after Michael Kors landed in the cinematic city of London for an A-list panel discussion and a glamorous dinner to celebrate the opening night of Icons of Style—a curated film series hosted in partnership with Vanity Fair and Fashion & Cinema that explores the role of fashion in American film over three decades.

Following the conversation, the audience enjoyed a screening of Love Story, followed by a Kors hosted dinner for the actresses and a array of guests at The Ivy—a beautifully revamped icon of London’s dining scene. Fabulous flowers set the mood, the magician Dynamo wowed with magic tricks and Samantha Bark wound her way around the tables serenading the crowd. Hudson, MacGraw and Russo mingled with Uma Thurman, Clémence Poésy, Mario Testino  and others, raising toasts to style and cinema.

All said and done, the party goes on and on at Michael Kors. AGREED?
